.Walking through Etro was akin to understanding for the first time what it truly might be like to experience synesthesia. In fact, I wondered if the founder might be one of the lucky one percent who freely associates color with shape among other things. My mind wandered to other things when I noticed the quality of the fabric, the hand bags and overall vibrancy of the place. I had seen it before. Where had I seen it? Then I knew in a flash! The lady I was speaking with on Rodeo Drive in Los Angeles must know something about the TV show White Lotus. She happily shared that the clothing line was used in the Series. I will save you the trouble of a ticket, or the drive. Like so many people in our industry, she is very excited about people who have an eye for fabrics. She encourages folks who love fashion to keep doing what they are doing. She recommends looking for costuming opportunities on Backstage. I longed to return to our conversation before I started asking her about what it was like to work on the show. She simple smiled and arranged a few items on the floor.
